NJ Permit Extension Act – P.L. 2012 Cc.48 (A-1338) extends even further the expirations of permits issued between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2014. These permits will remain valid through June 30, 2015 or until the permits expiration date if the permit extension act did not exist – whichever is longer. Permits issued in environmentally sensitive areas remain excluded from the Act. Don’t forget this extension also includes many prior approvals – soil erosion and sediments control, Meadowlands, Pinelands, Septic, waterfront development, DOT for highway access and ROW, MUA/Sewer. Also included are municipal and count planning and zoning board approvals.
